Advertising Information
General Policies
The publisher reserves the right to reject any advertisement deemed
to be of questionable taste or exaggerated claims.
The publisher accepts advertisements with the understanding that
the advertiser is responsible for the contents of the advertisements
and absolves the publisher from all claims.
The publisher reserves the right to label any advertisements
resembling editorial material as "Advertisement."
Payment Schedule
A 50% deposit will be required upon space reservation. The balance
will be due and payable two weeks prior to the deadline date.

Deadlines
Closing date for space reservations is seven weeks prior to the cover
date. Camera-ready materials are due three working days after the
space reservation date. Materials for ads needing production by
Beaches n' Dreams, Inc. are due on the camera-ready art deadline.
Your advertising representative can confirm closing dates.
Cancellations
Cancellations are not accepted after the space reservation deadline.
When no material is furnished by material due date for space under
contract, the publisher reserves the right to repeat a previous ad or
to bill 100% for the unused space.
Cancellations on cover positions are not accepted later than 30 days
prior to the space reservation deadline.
Beaches n' Dreams, Inc. is committed to the accurate reproduction
of advertisements. Advertisers are strongly encouraged to submit
high-quality materials. Publisher reserves the right to reject
materials of inferior quality or to alter incorrectly-sized ads.
Digital File Information
- All digital files need to be Mac files.
- Application software can be QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
Illustrator, or Macromedia Freehand.
- Files may be submitted on a Zip disk, CD or floppy.
- Digital-ready ads may also be e-mailed to our office at
info@beachesndreams.com
- Include all necessary fonts, including fonts for placed EPS images.
Please delete all unnecessary fonts. Do not use font style attributes;
use the actual stylized typeface.
- Images must be 300 dpi and placed at 100% in layout. Images
MUST BE converted to CMYK format.
- Photoshop images need to be converted to CMYK TIFF.
- Please identify all original photographs.
- Include with your disk a directory of all files on the disk.
- A color laser or ink jet proof must be submitted.
Disposition of Materials
All advertising materials will be kept for a period of one year, or
returned upon request.
Advertising Production Rates
Assistance in producing ads is available, and clients will be charged
at prevailing rates. Production quotes are available in advance of
advertising production.
